I chose for my design theme to be related to cartoons and animation because my audience was raised on this type of media.  I felt they would  have an easy time relating and connecting to exaggerated characters.

 

I wanted each one of the pouches to contain a different curated cocktail. With that in mind I drew a character for each flavor of pouch, then assigned them a different type of drunk attribute like cuddly, sad, or motherly.  I wanted people to have fun identifying themselves and their friends with the characters on the packaging. I also included a mad-lib style story for each character on the back of each pouch highlighting and complimenting the things that make each type of drinker special.
